Robert is an experienced civil litigator who previously specialized in insurance litigation, liability litigation, and general insurance defense. His years representing some of Georgia's largest insurance carriers gives him unique insight into the tactics powerful companies use against plaintiffs.
Robert is licensed to practice law in Florida, Georgia, and the U.S. District Court – Northern District of Georgia. He brings his defense-side expertise to fight for plaintiffs in personal injury, wrongful death, and class action cases.
About Robert
Robert is a graduate of Emory University and the Georgia State University College of Law, where he received his J.D. with honors and distinction in 2007. He has worked at global, nationwide, and statewide corporate defense firms. He has experience handling cases involving civil rights violations, class actions, complex business disputes, construction and real estate litigation, government investigations, and personal torts.
Before joining the Wetherington Law Firm, Robert specialized in insurance litigation, liability litigation, and general insurance defense. His experience representing some of the largest insurance carriers in the world gives him unique insight into the tactics that powerful companies use against plaintiffs and the actions that plaintiffs can take to strengthen their cases, both in negotiations and in court. Robert is also one of Atlanta’s best legal researchers and writers, whose exceptional command of legal procedure and precedent strengthens every case he works on.

Robert is currently accepting cases involving serious injury, wrongful death, or are suitable for class-wide treatment.

- Business contract disputes in excess of $10,000,000.
